How do you stretch out your front leg to do your splits??

I almost have my splits and i think that my front leg is always the one holding me back so can you tell me some stretches that will give me more flexibility in the my front legs when doing splits!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!How do you stretch out your front leg to do your splits??
For your front leg, put one leg up on top of a tall surface. Maybe about as tall as you. For the back leg, stretch your quads ALOT.
