What are the risks of being pushed into the side splits?

how hurt could you get if you had a friend pushes you into a side split when your not able to do them yet?What are the risks of being pushed into the side splits?
pulled muscles, tears, sprains, general strain. it's not good to force the splits, it's a gradual skill that you master by stretching every day so your muscles are flexible enough to do it. if you end up tearing or pulling muscles, you'll be back where you started (after recovery time).





i've had dance instructors put pressure on my shoulders when doing splits in class, but they weren't actually pushing me into a full split.What are the risks of being pushed into the side splits?
You could rupture your hamstrings and pull several muscles. Also, if you have someone do this for you it will hurt and, depending how hard they pushed and how far you were able to do the slipts prior, you may never be able to dance again.
