3 roomates 2 rooms and a tv per room. How should we split the cable bill?

Me and my gf have a townhome with my best friend. We have a room then he has a room and we have to living rooms. One has my tv in it and one has is. We started at the beginning us paying 2/3s the bill and i think its rediculous after a few months. How should i approach him and how does that sound to you guys? am i being unfair??? also we split the electricity should that be 2/3s or 1/2? thanks3 roomates 2 rooms and a tv per room. How should we split the cable bill?
To be right about the splitting the bill. It should be 2/3 to 1/3 on all bills. There are two of you and one of him. If you split 50/50 then she is getting a totaly free ride and he is paying part of her share also. That is not right. If youl had started the 50/50 from the start that would be different. It is not right to change it now. Why should he pay 50% of your gf share? Unless she is cooking cleaning, laundry for him as well as you. Then she should be compensated for what she is doing extra for him. Good Luck.3 roomates 2 rooms and a tv per room. How should we split the cable bill?
What 2/3 ? Split it in half for crying out loud !! You are making him take advantage of you ! Do you give him 2/3 of your pay check? Do you give him 2/3 of your gf? C'mon man! You and you gf are as 1 and he is 1 therefore he needs to pay half, no discussion !!!!!
Sorry but he does not watch as much tv as 2 people. 1/3rd on his part is fair.
if there are three people you each pay a third of the bills.

My hair is having extreme split ends is there any treatment for my hair?

My hair is having many split ends i want to know there causes and how to prevent split ends from my hair or any treatmentMy hair is having extreme split ends is there any treatment for my hair?
trim the endsMy hair is having extreme split ends is there any treatment for my hair?
Shaving your head normally resloves the issue. Since split ends are caused when hair becomes damaged or dry, the longer it gets the more likely the problem will become.

If your not willing to shave it clean off, try adding a large spoon full of Lard to your daily diet. I have had friends that do that for their dogs and it provides a nice shinny coat.

Ever hear of a dog with split ends? Well maybe some of those little long haired rat dogs and poodles. Come to think of it there are a lot of dogs out there with nasty mops of problem fur, and where acually talking about human hair and not dog fur, so I'll go with my first sujestion of shaving.

Hope this helps! : )
well for starters, u should have ur hair cut every 4-6 weeks, then avoid using hair products that contain alcohol in them, do not abuse ur hair by blowdrying too much or even flat ironing ur hair frequently. take vitamin b12 and also take 2 avocado's and mash them up with about a tablespoon of olive oil and apply that mix to ur hair, about twice a week for about 6 months. u'll see the difference in ur hair, u just have to have a routine maintainence.
shave your head. Do you use conditioner? - how about those hot oil treatments?
I know you dont want to hear this but you have to cut it. Those shampoos that ';help'; split ends only ';glue'; the ends back together for a short time. and cutting the split ends helps your hair grow faster. If thats what you want to do. Good Luck! :)
Well, you should get a trim every 6-8 wks! Also, There is a spray that you can find at a beauty supply store called ITS A TEN it works Great! They also just came out with a Once a week treatment masque you put on your hair and leave it in!! I also recommend that!
check the links below for natural homemade beauty tips to:-- Dry hair / Oily-greasy hair/ Splitends / Fruit Packs for scalp

the only way is to trim your ends. nothing will work,
Get it trimmed every 6 weeks and use a conditioner on just the ends, and if you dry your hair with a blow dryer every time try using a heat protectant spray.

Most breakage, occurs because it's being handled wet. Brushing and tying it back causes breakage, almost 60 percent more when wet. The salt in the water also could be causing it as salt dries the hair and skin. The vitamin deficiency is also a culprit becuase the hair needs vitamins and minerals to grow. They actually sell a vitamin package called HAIR SKIN and NAILs. It replaces all the vitamins and minerals you miss in your diet.
I realize this seems like I'm just being a sarcastic fool, but this IS real.

';Kinky Hair Disease is due to a metabolic defect, a fatty acid buildup on the gray matter of the brain caused by improper copper metabolism. Copper, a trace mineral found in several enzymes and proteins, is essential for many bodily functions, particularly the absorption of of iron needed for immune processes. When this mineral cannot be metabolized, or expelled under normal bodily functions, it finds it's way to the brains and gathers there. Kinky hair sufferers often feel cold when others do not, and in general experience a prolonged sense of malaise, not as strong as depression but rather an unexplained melancholy and listlessness. But the most unfortunate physical outcome of this disorder is the acquisition of strikingly peculiar hair. Once straight hair then becomes 'kinky' or stumpy, snarled, meager, steely, and easily broken. Most people think their hair change is due to conditioners or shampoos and seek diagnostic tests too lat. The hair turns white, ivory, of gray in color, which no amount of dye or highlights can cover. When copper cannot be metabolized, kinky hair patients actually are in the process of body metamorphosis; due to the lack of copper absorption, the essential structures of hair, brain, bones, liver, and arteries are changing.

The prospects for persons with kinky hair disease are not good as the body cannot function without adequate copper. Most affected persons die within the first decade of acquiring kinky hair.

    1,563 died of Kinky Hair Disease in 2004.';
There can be many things that cause hair to become this way. How is her weight, does she do drugs (not that you would know), what is her diet, is she stressed? This sounds like a nutrition issue, nothing huge to worry about, just take her to a doctor/nutritionist to get her looked at.
is she using a good conditioner?

its probably just too dry and she washed her hair too often

stop shampooing for a week or so, use conditioner and see if it improves

if not, then sure take her to the doctor

the guy above me could be right about the meth, though
It could be her thyroid. She should go to the doctor and get blood tests.

My sister has an over-active thyroid and her hair used to get like that and even fall out. She also had problems with her finger nails cracking and splitting. But, she is on Synthroid now and the symptoms have diminished. Hope that helps.
does she straighten it? or blow dry it? because typically thats the cause of it take a month off of doing it with washing your hair and towel drying it aand it should go back to normal
    http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/鈥?/a>

That link is to a discussion about course hair. Maybe you could get some hints from there.
She is probably damaging it. Tell her to not straighten or curl her hair as often and try and new shampoo/ conditioner.
maybe you need to change the shampoo because that could be bad for here hair
does she use heating tools often??? like flat irons and curlers to style??

also does she dye her hair??

if so? thats why, get a trim and reduce all those things.
    Sounds like meth.

I used an invisable zipper on a wed gown and the coils split open when she bent over. Is there a better zipper

The dress is very tight fitting, the fabric is embriodered shantung. I need to find a tight closer that will not break open. Are invisible zippers less sturdy than regular ones? any ideas?I used an invisable zipper on a wed gown and the coils split open when she bent over. Is there a better zipper
Yes, they are less sturdy; especially for very tight dresses. For truly figure hugging dresses I use old fashioned hooks and eyes in a left side placket, or I use ball buttons and button loops on the center back. Hooks and eyes give a very clean finish to both the front and back and are my preferred method; the tightness and the fasteners work together to hold up the dress and I don't need separate stay tapes -which I'll explain later! Ball buttons and loops are more traditional for bridal gowns. Both come on pre mounted on tapes in the bridal and evening department of higher end fabric stores, so much of the fussy work is done. Some have bones already encased in the tapes. I do like the look of ball buttons and loops, they look like someone put a lot of time and effort into the gown. If you are pressed for time and merely want to replace the zipper, you might want to add stay tapes to the bodice to take the stress off the zipper. Even if you do use hooks and eyes or button tape, you might still want to add a tape stay.

Stay tapes are grosgrain ribbons or firm elastics that are sewn to the lining and underlining of the dress horizontally across the body and hooked closed before the zipper is zipped. These are used in strapless couture gowns that must stay up and almost defy gravity and where a broken zipper would be a disaster. Elastic is more flexible, but it can dig into the skin if it's too tight. Grosgrain ribbon is less flexible, but some find it more comfortable. Use a stay tape at the waist and under the bust. Whatever you use, the stay should fit snugly around the body. Measure by wrapping the tape around the body at the two points, and add enough for an inch and a half turn under to support the hooks. The ribbon should be slightly smaller than the dress bodice, but not by more than 3/8 of an inch. And more and the dress is simply too small. Hand sew the ribbon to the seam allowance, catching in a bit of both the lining and the dress fabric. In some gowns I try to loop around the boning with the grosgrain, one dress I needed to bone the waist ribbon to add more structure. This will make the stress go from the outer fabric to the ribbon. The ribbon is turned under and hooks should face toward the body so they are invisible. The hooks are hooked then the zipper is closed. You can add ribbon stays wherever there seems to be stress on the zipper.

This is a traditional couture method used to hold up tight, strapless gowns. I learned it from a dressmaker who worked for Fath in the fifties.I used an invisable zipper on a wed gown and the coils split open when she bent over. Is there a better zipper
I hope it works out okay! I tried to find illustrations on line, but I didn't have any luck. I know the technique is described in the older 1970's vogue sewing book. I don't do wedding dresses anymore, they weren't worth the stress. If you have more questions, I'll try to answer.

Glad I found you again. What size of gross grain ribbon should I buy and do I just tack it to every seam around the bust line and waist? Do I put it between the lining and the underlining, so you cannot see it? How about a zipper, what kind do you suggest?

This dress must be extremely tight because I have wore snug gowns and never had one to come apart like that.
The only time I've ever had zippers split apart is when the dress was super tight %26amp; the zipper was cheap. Try a regular zipper or even a heavy duty zipper in white/cream (whatever color the dress is). When it comes to tight dresses %26amp; zippers you cannot be picky about the type of zipper or the whole dress is going to fall right off the bride.

well I was gonna recommend nail glue, but since you don't want to go that route, consider wrapping a good cloth medical grade bandage tape around the toe, it will keep the nail from splitting further and minimize discomfort, of course you won't want to be wearing sandals, but it will do the job.How can I treat a split nail bed on my toe?

  • Uh. I have really bad split ends. Are there any other options to ridding of them besides trimming?

I'm currently using Suave Professionals Daily Moisture Shampoo, for dry or damaged hair. It's not working too well, I'm going to guess. Help is VERY appreciated!Uh. I have really bad split ends. Are there any other options to ridding of them besides trimming?
no, you cant get rid of split ends without trimming. it's just dead, processed hair and should be cut off.

you can make it less noticeable, though.

you can do a home heat conditioner, which is when you take a deep conditioner such as Garnier Fructis Hair Mask or Milk H2O hair mask, rub it through DRY hair, and blow dry it for 20 minutes. afterwards, wash it out, and you'l have soft hair.

a way to prevent split ends would be buying a new shampoo/conditioner made special for restoring hair. it doesn't actually restore dead hair, dead is dead, but it prevents it from happening so soon.Uh. Home Remedy for damaged hair growth care

Mix 1/2 cup honey and 3 tablespoons olive oil. Work a small amount at a time through hair until coated. Cover hair with a shower cap; leave on 30 minutes. Shampoo well and rinse.

1/2 cup of ripe avocado, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 banana (I prefer it not to be too ripe), 1 egg yolk. Massage it in to your hair and especially your scalp. Cover it with a shower cap. You can also use a gallon size baggie in a pinch. Wait 45 minutes to an hour then rinse it off thoroughly and shampoo as usual. This beauty recipe is a keeper, I love the way it makes my hair look and feel.

Beat 1 egg white until foamy. Add to 6 tablespoons plain natural yogurt. Apply to hair in small sections at a time. Leave in for 15 minutes. Rinse.

2 cups distilled water, 1/3 cup chopped fresh rosemary leaves - In small saucepan combine ingredients and bring to boil. Continue to boil 5 minutes. Let cool, then pour into spray bottle. Keep refrigerated and mist on hair to add shine, tone scalp, or invigorate skin.

In a blender or food processor, combine 2 1/2 tablespoons dried milk, 1 tablespoon wheat germ oil, and 1 egg. Apply evenly to hair and let set for at least an hour. Shampoo and style as usual.

Mix two whole eggs with four tablespoons of olive oil. Smooth through hair. Wrap head with plastic wrap, and leave in hair for 10 minutes. Rinse well.

Boil 7 heaping tablespoons dried thyme in 2 cups water for 10 minutes. Strain and cool. Pour 1/2 mixture over clean, damp hair. Massage into scalp, do not rinse. Use the rest of the solution another day.

If you swim in a chlorinated pool for exercise on a regular basis, the same damage you've noticed happening to your skin and bathing suit, is happening to your hair, as well. Try this treatment at home to keep chlorine damage to a minimum.

    鈥?1 egg

鈥?1 eggshell's worth of olive oil

鈥?1 quarter of a peeled cucumber

Blend the egg, olive oil and peeled cucumber. Spread evenly through your hair, leave on for 10 minutes, then thoroughly rinse. For the best results year-round, continue this treatment monthly.
no their isnt any type of solution you have to trimm so that it can grow bac
it's coursed by some thing you doing to your hair have a good trim and then take care of you hair by protecting it from heated tools and use a conditioning mask once a week
Find tresemme shampoos, they have a bottle of 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner that is supposed to help for hair breakage. :D Hope I helped.
Your best bet is to use something like John Frieda's hair serum because it smooths the ends of your hair. Try using a deep conditioning mask once a week, focusing on the ends. A trim is not a bad idea though because the hair is damaged.
Do not cut your hair. A good majority of the general population do not have scissors sharp enough for cutting hair, please leave this to the professionals.

Buy good shampoo and conditioner, experiment what works best with your hair, including not washing it everyday, possibly wetting it will suffice.

    If you have dry hair

Use a leave-in conditioner in addition to your regular shampoo and conditioner.

Try coconut or avocado oil in your hair over night and wash it in the morning.

    If you have oily hair

Wash your scalp with a gentle shampoo and use a light conditioner on the tips on a daily basis.

    If you have curly hair

    Use a product with silicone.

Let your hair air dry if you live in a warmer arid climate.

Use a blow dryer on medium to low with a diffuser if you live a cooler more humid climate.

    If you have over-processed hair

Use a leave-in conditioner with silicone.

Do not dry your hair all the way, it tends to dry it out more.

Use coconut oil, avocado oil or a half and half mixture of coconut and castor oils overnight to strengthen and increase hair growth.
My roommate just told me last night that a friend of hers was told by her salon stylist to get the new Pantene Deep Conditioner for Women of Color. Her stylist told her it didn't matter what color her skin was, but that this particular line has extra moisturizers that can help with any hair color/texture and especially help with damage from heat and styling. I plan on going and picking myself up some and trying it out!
Train yourself to put serum on ONLY the ends. Don't run it all through everywhere. Just put it mainly on the damaged ends. That'll get you by for a while, but eventually you'll have to get it trimmed.

Tell the stylist you ONLY want the dead ends trimmed off, not 3 inches. Watch her. Tell her again if she starts hacking.
Comb your hair right after you get out of the shower and before your go to sleep, combing it helps take out all the dead hair.
I use V05 hot oil treatments twice a week

I also switched my shampoo to Bumble and Bumble for damaged hair.

The winter is horrible for the hair,

so when I get out of the shower I put in two leave in conditioners

Try that stuff and if it doesn't work you really should trim it..

the more the hair grows the more will needed to be taken off.
mane and tale shampoo and conditioner inexpensive and works WONDERS

Nothing is helping very much. How do you get the splits real fast?
i know you said that you dont have much time to stretch but thats the only way that you are going to be able to do the splits fast.

You dont have to put aside a certain time to stretch, just do it while your watching T.V or before you go to bed. 15 minutes a day should be good. Whenever you have some downtime- and free space, just stretch!

If you have a shin Split is it wrong to keep running on it and will it make it longer?

I just found out recently that i had shin split the trainer at my school says im good but start running heel to toe. So everytime it starts hurting i stop and rub legs down with ice it feels better but on the other hand people say i should not play for about 1 or 2 weeks S what should i do?If you have a shin Split is it wrong to keep running on it and will it make it longer?
well your question is kinda vague in giving details as to how much you run, and where. if you are running at practice, as part of practice, then you probably dont want to stop running...just do toe raises before practice starts, if you are running on your own time, then you should probably limit or stop doing it....but if your trainer says you are good to go then you probably are...i'm in track and at the beginning of the season it's way too cold to run outside so we run in the halls of our school...its really easy to get shin splits there because of the surface we are running on...but we dont stop running because of it..everyone else said to stop running completly, but they can heal even if you do keep running...listen to your trainer, if you feel your legs are getting worse or you think you should, go see your trainer againIf you have a shin Split is it wrong to keep running on it and will it make it longer?
ive been running track for 5 years now, and in the beginning of every single season i get shin splints that sometimes hurt so bad that i have to lay down in the locker room before even getting changed, but after a couple weeks of pain, they just go away, so just keep running through it and youll be fine.
I would definitely recommend taking time off from running but listen to your trainer and your doctor. They went to school for this and they most likely know what's best.
You're in for serious down time if you keep running. Shin splints are the result of muscle imbalance. I'm surprised your trainer doesn't know this. Take 2 weeks off: then I want you to start this exercise:

Lie face down in bed with your toes hanging over the edge. Slowly pull your toes upward against the resistance of the mattress. Hold for 1 or 2 seconds, then repeat. Try to work up to 2 or 3 sets of 10.

Alternative or supplement to this is the standing toe raise. Just balance yourself, then raise one toe off the ground standing just on your heel. Then repeat with the other foot.

    Good Luck
It depends on how bad they are.

Like during track last season they bothered me slightly but it was never a thing that really slowed me down, just an annoyance. You can usually just run through it and ice them and they'll go away if they aren't too bad.

But during cross country, sometimes they would get so bad they would hurt every time I took a step. If it's bad you're going to have to take a week or 2 off or you'll never get any better. You could try to run through it but you won't be able to run hard so you'll never get faster and your shins will never heal. So just suck it up and take some time off if it gets bad enough.

Also, if it hurts on the outside of your shins then you can probably keep going, but if it's on the inside it will likely get bad. Good shoes will help too, make sure they have lots of cusion.
its agravating when you want to get better and stuff, yes. but definatly take some downtime. you dont want to keep running, make it worse, and find out u have stressfractures so you cant run for an even longer time like i did
you wont get better if you keep running
YES..you should take a break from running

  • When will protestants take the responsability for splitting christianity?

And causing unbelivers to mock belivers in Christ for their disunity?

And giving them another reason not to believe the gospel and be saved.

    I'm horrified really.

We as Christians need a united front to counter the attacks from the evil one, so very common today,

There are souls at stake. When will protestants take the responsability for splitting christianity?
Here is the crux of the problem: ';Can two walk together, except they be agreed?'; (Amos 3:3)

As long as the Roman church continues to advocate Mary as a co-redemptrix, re-sacrifices Christ in the Mass, allows praying to the saints, the doctrine of purgatory, and the selling of indulgences, then there is no way for the Protestant church to reunite with the Roman one. And those are just a few of the issues that divide us.

All of the sources I have used favor the Roman position. When will protestants take the responsability for splitting christianity?
Martin Luther did the right thing. He challenged the Vatican's corruption with his 95 thesis which he nailed to the door of Wittenburg Abbey. The Prostestant Reformation went the right step for Christianity.
They'll never do. Martin Luther, founder of the Lutherean Church, taught his people that they have the right to believe in what they thought. Thanks to him, there are other churches forming around the world.
Well my Friend as a Christian some of us are starting to wake up now something you and all Christians need to do to, if you need the gospels to be saved that tells me that you literally believe in a book that man wrote, thereby worshipping a man and that would be idol worship, Jesus taught us to worship God the father not him, he simply gave us the message, unfortunately religion joined by Christianity have distorted removed and interpreted to suit it for their benefit and that's where you will find your evil one. oh the souls at stake there is only one yours, so you decide what god you want to worship may God bless you.
    good point%26gt; there are currenlty 34K denominations of christianity! it is said that there are 5 new denominations starting each year!! satan is doing a good job is splitting the body of christ and cauising disunity, disagreement and anger%26gt; we must try to unite and form one body as Jesus instructed%26gt;
Blaming ';protestants'; is not the way to present a united front. Stop doing what you accuse others of doing.

Don't forget the scripture, about the beam in your own eye, and a splinter in another's...you are demonstrating it with these hostile remarks disguised as ';questions';.
    Wow. Look. A preacher!

Look, okay? If we wanted to be saved, we would have saved ourselves instead of waiting for you dumbdumbs to come save us.

Most all of us feel safe because we are our current religions -- or lack there of -- and are, therefore, ';saved'; from your hateful and misguided beliefs and ideas.

    - 16 yo Pagan
Luther split from the Catholic church because some of their teachings were not bible based, and for various other reasons. Even the Lutheran church has split into 3 synods because of differing beliefs. I, for one, celebrate the fact that there are different options for people to chose from, instead of just 'my way or the highway'. You will never get anyone to agree about all of the sacraments, etc.

Edited to address what poster added later: Yes, there is still at least one major difference that will never convince me to be Catholic. Make that two. The first is that Catholics still preach that to get into Heaven you must practice good works. Not true, and that's not written anywhere in the Bible. Second one is confession - I don't need an intermediary between God and me - I can talk to him just fine on my own. So yeah, there are still important reasons why the church split.
Maybe soon after the church of Rome takes responsibility for the massacres, murders, political intrigue, and holocausts for which it was directly responsible in the pre-Reformation era.

    Here's a hint: Don't hold your breath.
Your Q indicates that you feel that Protestants ESCAPING the clutches of the Vatican was a horrible deed.

    Sorry you feel that way.

Many besides myself refuse to belong to a group who teach

    ';';Another Gospel';';.

I do understand your idea that a united front is desired...but PLEASE! Not under the Poop of Rome (Vaticanus).
Guess you are not familiar with the great schism of the late eleventh century, when the Greek/Eastern Orthodox Church broke away from the authority of the Roman Catholic Church?

They had problems with the practices of the papacy, just as Luther and other Protestants of the sixteenth century did.

And yet, you choose to blame them, and not the Catholic Church? Interesting. And biased.

I really think you need to spend more time studying the history of your own religion and look at the separation of Christianity from a variety of perspectives.
Read up on Catholic Church history and you'll see why.
They split because they felt that the Catholic church was teaching wrong things. That is up to each person to decide if they were or not, but is it right to stick with something you believe to be wrong solely to present a united front. If you aren't following Jesus (even if you claim to be) then a united front is immaterial because Jesus isn't going to be too fond of someone who is twisting his words into something evil. Which is what the early protestants felt the Catholic church was doing, so they were right to leave (either they cleaned out the Catholic church of unbelievers, or they founded a way that may be the correct way and provided a chance for true believers).

How do I either get my boyfriends name off of our home loan or take my name off if we split up?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 years and just recently bought a house together. I want to split up with him but know he won't leave the house or pay the mortgage. I am moving out soon and don't want my credit ruined, but how do I get him out or at least my name off of it. Do I have to get his permission to sell the house? How do I either get my boyfriends name off of our home loan or take my name off if we split up?
Unfortunately you might not be able to. If both you and your boyfriend have your names on the mortgage than it probably means that you qualified for the loan together. The loan company most likely wont take one off for fear of financial stability in repaying the loan. One of you could probably see if you can qualify for a loan on their own and then switch title into that persons name. Which is another thing, you might want to look at the issue of who holds title and have that changed too.

I'd recommend selling the home and splitting what profits come from it. Since you've owned for six years you probably have some good equity and you should both be entitled to it.How do I either get my boyfriends name off of our home loan or take my name off if we split up?

Sell the house and divide the proceeds in order to avoid legal trouble. The thought of receiving cash for whatever should spur him into action. Another option is offering cash for him to quit-claim the house over to you. Consult a real estate attorney for more options.
    see your attorney
You need to have a Quit Claims Deed wrote up. Go to a Lawyer and have it written that you will not make any claims to the ownership on the house. Unfortunatley, I am not sure that you won't still be held accountable in the event that he dosen't make his payments on the house. My advice? Sell it together for what you owe on it. Just get out of it togehter. I have been in this boat before when I kept the house only to find out that my ex had a lien on the house that I had to pay off before I could sell it.
just get him to refinance and take your name off the loan. email me if you want to know how to refinance it without any closing costs.
You have to refinance, either or you. The lender will not allow a name removed from the loan, a new loan will need to be taken out.

How can i prevent getting split ends so quickly?

I have relaxed black hair. My hair is past shoulder length and has really bad split ends. I have my roots relaxed every 3 months and also have my hair cut at the same time. Do I need to get my split ends cut off more often or is there another solution? How can i prevent getting split ends so quickly?
Split ends are damaged hair. Can be through mechanical damage like super-vigorous combing or too much heat. Can be through chemical degradation like bleach damage or even a harsh shampoo. Often it is both. Try to treat it more gently and get splits cut off quickly before they run.How can i prevent getting split ends so quickly?
There are a few ways to prevent split ends, I've looked it up too as I have trouble with them.

Using shampoo and conditioner that lists sunscreen as a major ingredient helps a lot, just to minimize sun damage.

You should trim your hair every 6 to 8 weeks really, and try not to use heat styling items such as straighteners or hair dryers.

Wait until your hair is dry before you brush it after a shower because when it's wet its most vulnerable..

You could try a split end repairing kit, but it doesn't actually fix the ends as it can't be done.. It just gets rid of the messy hair look.

    Hope this helped.

Even though this is the second time I'm answering this..

If me and my spouse r living together and I have a 6 year old son shld the bills be split in 3 ways?

The reason I ask is becuz his mom came into town %26amp; we had a lil disagreement infront of her, so she had a nerve to put her 2 cents in %26amp; tell me everything shld be split 3 ways... I do pay 100 more for rent and he 105 less please help!!! If me and my spouse r living together and I have a 6 year old son shld the bills be split in 3 ways?
When your spouse chose to be in a relationship with you, he chose to equally share in the responsibilities of the family. His mother may not like this. She obviously does not. But that does not mean that she is right. Or that she needs to be invited back. :) Good luck. If me and my spouse r living together and I have a 6 year old son shld the bills be split in 3 ways?
Is he actually your spouse? Are you married? In this case each should contribute as much as they can afford in the household, analogically to their income. For example, if he earns more he should contribute more and vice versa.

Of course, this 3-way split is nonsense.

Now, if you just live together, again you should either contribute in analogy to your income or pay half-half- whatever you've agreed with your b/f.

By the way, since he's with you (and assuming you are married) your son is his responsibility too now. HE should provide for him too.

Either way, don't allow his mom to butt in- it's not her business for god's sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are married, all your money is held in joint and you are each responsible for each other's finances UNLESS you already specifically opted out of this standard agreement in writing.

There is no splitting anything 3 ways. 100% of all your and your husband's income goes to the family and 100% of all bills are paid by the family.

If you choose to have fights or disagreements in front of family or friends, you are inviting them to participate in that fight or disagreement.
**** i would have to say the person that said she should have her kid taken off her. wtf for? all she is asking is if her spouses wicked mother is right? how does that comprehend she is a bad mother?. I dnt live with my partner fully but he still helps and i pay the majorly of the rent cause i have a 2 yr old son who occupies a room. i agree bills should be split in half not 3 ways geez the kid is 6 yrs old not a bloody teenager. My advice tell ur spouses mother to get stuffed and that her son decided to be in a relationship with someone who has akid he should take responsibility as an adult and go halfs in everything and not fight over a kid and asking the kid to contribute.

Leave it the way things are or better stil he lives with you so the rent should be spilt evenly.

    good luck with everything :o)
it all depends on what you agree on. there is no rule abouthow bills are split up. if you have to have an extra room because of the kid, how much does that cost compared to a 1 bedroom. do you think you should pay that extra? does he really use 1/3 of the water and electricity and cable and internet? should it be per capita or usage based? another way people split bills is based on income, ie each pays a certain percentage of their take-home - so if one person makes a lot less that is more 'fair'. do some people do a lot more of the chores like laundry or dishes? that perhaps should be considered. but it comes down to what is your agreement with the person. are you getting child support? how much?
    If you are already paying 100 more that should be enough. How much can a six year old use that anyone else in the house isn't using at the same time. This seems rather nit picky........if paying for the child of the one you love is such a problem, then maybe the problem is really ';the person';

By the way a spouse in legal terms is someone you are married to.
If you are married why are you worrying about who pays for what? All your bills should be paid together. Your mother-in-law needs to mind her own business and your husband needs to back you up.

If the two of you cannot agree on financial matters like this, you'll never last. Get into marriage counseling NOW!
?? There are child labor laws in place for a reason. You cannot be serious that you expect your child to help support you. You should be thrown in jail for that and your child taken away and placed in a better environment where he is allowed to be a kid.
that is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard in my entire life.

you and your spouse are the only adults everything should be split evenly your together that means sharing everything if he or she cant deal with that DUMP THEM
I don't see way you should be in everything equal ya'll are married so he is his son to even if it's not his really you know
you have left me speechless. SPEECHLESS! And you married him because? WHY? You are roommates not a married couple! HOLY CRAP! I cannot believe people!
What???Is his mother suggesting that she pay the other third? Im unclear on your question.
    no
    no

Why did so many Sunflowers split into multiple heads? and if I plant their seeds will it make more like that?

I planted a bunch of sunflowers, many varieties.

Approx 1/3+ of the standard sunflowers and nearly all of the dwarf varieties had multiple heads, and continued getting more buds, one had 12+ tiny flowerheads (these are all annuals). I got very few normal size sunflower heads because of this.

Why did this happen? If I use seeds from them will it grow more of the ones with multiple heads? Why did so many Sunflowers split into multiple heads? and if I plant their seeds will it make more like that?
The wild type of the annual sunflower (Helianthus annuus) is characterized as having multiple small heads. Through selective breeding, a domestic type bearing a single large head has been developed. These are the ';common'; types that most people are familiar with. In addition, many other variations, including dwarfs and additional color variants, have been developed. If you use seeds from these cultivars, it is likely that the resulting plants will appear similar to the original plants, unless there has been some exchange of genetic information (ie. cross-pollination), in which case who knows what your next generation of sunflowers may look like.

  • Is there a port to split internet from modem to 2 computers?

Something like a spillter or a port, I am not talking about Router. THANKSIs there a port to split internet from modem to 2 computers?
Yes you are. A router is what you need. Or depending on the use, a switch might also work.

Good LuckIs there a port to split internet from modem to 2 computers?
I run two computers using ethernet one is situated 100 metres away from the other using a cable which we have placed underground. I installed a Netcomm/Ethernet/USB ADSL Modem Router Plus 4 it will run 4 computers if you so desire. The item is not expensive and easy to install. It is the only method I know to do what you want to get full use of internet with no delay. There are probably other kinds available but I have found this one relatively problem free. This is an external unit so no fiddling with the internal computer required. This replaces your standard external Modem. Good Luck
no even if they do exist it won't work Modem is designed to give you just one ip. Where the router would distribute ip for each computer. So you already answer your question get a router.
A router is the only way to do it.

I just did my first ever 6k on an erg and my split time was 2:08 how is that for a novice?

I feel like I wasn't focused at the end, are there any tips for keeping a focused mind in the last two thousand meters?I just did my first ever 6k on an erg and my split time was 2:08 how is that for a novice?
You're doing great. This year my school's novice team (boys) is a bit weak, but the fastest 6k was a 2:09.8 split followed by a 2:16.3 and slower from there on.

If you want to stay focused, just keep watching your split and try to maintain your goal. During a 6k I don't take power 10's or anything. I feel maintaining the goal is the most important thing. Think about cutting the distance, just holding your position. If you let go, you'll feel just as bad as you did at a lower split. Remember to sit up straight and stay long, one of our novices started to die and didn't lay back during his 6k and died, ending with a 2:16.3 overall.

When it drops down to that last 2k you know that at this point it will just be a regular workout. I always think about our 4 by 8's and know that at that time I feel just like I always do for the last piece, and I just need to rough out that last piece like I always would (at a 2:00 split or less the rest of the 6k isn't even as long as the 8 minute piece).

During winter you will develop the ability to stay focused through a piece and your split will drop with the intense training. For a novice in fall a 6k is pretty rough. Go to http://launchexhaust.blogspot.com/ (written by an old coach at my school). He's a great coach, rowed at Yale, and has strategies for 6k's and 2k's on there.I just did my first ever 6k on an erg and my split time was 2:08 how is that for a novice?
6k's are tough man, they're by far one of my least favourite pieces.

That and the dreadfull 16k, they're the most boring thing you'll ever do!

Here is a link to a great post written by a coach, explaining how to row 6k's, and its really good.

    http://launchexhaust.blogspot.com/2006/1鈥?/a>

What you can really focus, is to get into a rhythm, and just keep going through it, To fight through the pain, you can do focus 10's, focus 20's, hard 10's and stuff just to keep going at it.

You can also count down as you get close, like if you're at 2k to go, cut the distance by half, and concentrate on finishing 1k, then the last 1k.

So basically, just remember to not let go fo your split, because it will be really hard to get it back, (and if you read the article, you'll learn that sprinting at the end won't save ya).

And keep yourself bus doing calls on technique, power through the legs, arms, and stuff.

And your time is alright.... a great way to know what is the slowest 6k you can do, is to row 400m (2k pace) 100m off, for the whole 6k.

Afterwards, you'll get an average split, and that is the slowest split you should ever do, the next time you do a 6k.

In College and University, if you're a lightweight guy, they want people sub 22 minutes, (1:50 split) and faster.

So just keep at it, focus, train hard, and you'll become a great rower!

    good luck, sincerely

    Al.

How do you make a split cage?

Quick and easy way 2 make on or could i buy one at the pet store? How do you make a split cage?
    Hi! Here's an example:

    http://twinsqueaks.com/split-tank.html

Here's MY personal experience of making one, it looks really long and hard, but it only took me like 20 minutes xD

I took measurements of the aquarium. You need to find the width and the height.

I went to the hardware store. I told the people the measurements and to save money they cut me a big piece and I just cut the measurements myself with some wire cutters or tin snips. If you don't want sore hands, I suggest you let them cut it xD I made 2 sheets for extra protection.

I went to an office supply store. I bought those transparent report covers. I put away the report covers as you won't need them here, what you WILL need are those plastic slidy things (I have an excellent vocabulary) that hold the report together and I slid them onto the bottom and sides of the mesh to protect the gerbils' that I was introducing eyes and so that it wouldn't scrape against the glass and make scratch marks.

I wedged the squares into the aquarium. They should fit pretty snugly.

I added bedding, water bottles, food bowls, and wheels on each side.

To attach a water bottle to your aquarium buy some sticky backed WHITE velcro, sold at the hardware store for like 3 dollars.

Good luck! If you need any help or have any questions email me at averyrazno@yahoo.comHow do you make a split cage?
I personally bought the Ferret Nation cage and it has a ladder in the middle that can either provide access from the second level to the third and fourth or you can hook it to the bottom of the third floor and it provides two seperate living spaces. Each includes a full base floor and a nice large shelf. I got mine at Petsmart but if you look around then you can find one i'm sure
go to a pet store and ask for a # gallon tank glass thing (split glass thingie) and they would like give ti to ya lol

Who agrees that Huckabee and Romney are splitting the Anti-McCain vote?

You can argue whether others are conservative enough or not, but McCain is one who is NOT Conservative:

    http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=YjU鈥?/a>

If Romney doesn't win Michigan, he should get out. If Thompson doesn't win South Carolina, he should get out.

I'm tired of the anti-McCain vote being split (same as Edwards splitting the anti-Hillary vote with Obama).Who agrees that Huckabee and Romney are splitting the Anti-McCain vote?
The republicans are SO all over the map really..I dont think they want to choose anybody till they see who they have to fight on the Dem side.

**but i agree...Edwards is splitting the anti HIllary vote. If he got out, Obama would probably sweep Hillary.Who agrees that Huckabee and Romney are splitting the Anti-McCain vote?
I don't understand who is voting for McCain. Are there a lot of people who are in favor of the war in Iraq and strongly support the surge, but want open borders, hire taxes, liberal judges, etc? The only issue McCain is with the republican party on is the war in Iraq. Who are these people voting for him?

Is it because he's still milking being a war hero after all these years? I think its great he served his country, but that doesn't qualify him to be president. If that was the case we'd just get any veteran and put him as president.

The problem with all the candidates is they all have piences of being a conservative. Huckabee is a social conservative, but not a fiscal conservative. Giuliani is a fiscal conservative, but not a social conservative. Paul is a libertarian.

The only real conservatives are Romney and Thompson, but of the two Romney has more energy, expresses himself better, and has the money to actually win the presidency. The latest polls have Thompson way down in every state, including South Carolina.

That's why I think Thompson should get out now and endorse Romney.
I'm sorry for your pain. I have decided I will vote for Fred Thompson because he is the best Republican candidate to represent my party in the 2008 election. Fred Thompson apply directly to the White House.
Thanks for the link, first of all.

Second, Mike Huckabee is the man who should drop out. His low third in New Hampshire, along with his continual touting of his evangelical credentials, have demonstrated his lack of appeal among moderates and independents. Mitt Romney doesn't have a Very large following of either, but he certainly polls better among both than Huckabee does. The fact that he was competitive in New Hampshire points towards it.

Finally, the real anti-McCain vote lies with Rudy Giuliani. Despite his recent campaign woes, Giuliani is closest in appeal and on the issues with McCain. Any liberal Republicans and independents who don't intend to vote for McCain are on the Giuliani bandwagon.
I don't agree with this assessment. Romney actually leads in REPUBLICAN votes. McCain and Huckabee are similarly NOT conservative. If anyone is splitting votes, it's these two. Why should Romney get out if he doesn't win in Michigan if he leads among Republican voters? He won Wyoming significantly and came in second in NH (by 5%)and Iowa. McCain's biggest boost were the Independents in NH. Sounds like someone doesn't like a challenge.

How come no one is asking who is doing McCain's job and Huckabee's job while they are out campaigning? I want to hear that addressed. At least Mitt had the guts not to run again in MA knowing he wanted to run for the Presidency.

Mitt has had major accomplishments in the private sector turning around companies without layoffs and turning $400 million loss in the Olympics into a $100 million profit. In MA he reduced taxes several times and balanced the budget every year.

Mitt is the best man for the job!!!
no thats like saying edwards and clinton are splitting the anti obama vote, the two have gotten different receptions. Huckabee and Romney and McCain are about on even ground right now, actually there is no single front runner except those 3 in the republican side.
Actually, Romney doesnt take any of Huckabees or McCains votes. its McCain and Huckabee who have similiar supporters.

How do you treat skin splits?

I have EXTREMELY dry skin on my hands..to the point of painful splits..vaseline seems to do well, but is not practical with all the paperwork and typing I have to do..even with bandaids..suggestions please? How do you treat skin splits?
ok, this may sound odd but give it a try.

if you have a painful skin split, then try putting a dab of super glue on it. i know that they stuff is toxic is swallowed and all that but when my brother got a bad cut on his hand, the doctor didn't put stitches in, he used crazy glue. i also work with lots of people who use it with no ill effects. i personally have not tried it, because my hands aren't that bad. once it dries, use lotions regularly to stop more splits from forming.

the skin creams and lotiomng mentioned above are also really good. so is vanicream, it is also very gentle. in my line of work i deal with lots of those types of products and people tell me why they use a particular brand all the time, also, since your hands are so dry try using a lotion made for diabetics. they are extra gentle so the product won't burn or sting when it goes on. those types of lotions are kept with the diabetic supplies at walgreens and i assume otherstores. maybe even try the kind for feet is that all you can find. diabetics can only put very few things on their feet. nothing with fragrance of anything like that (i know, i'm a type 1 diabetic)

    give it a try, goodluck.

haleyHow do you treat skin splits?
well if your hands are dry you should use lotion because it will help you and your hands with be nice and soft
Gold bond medicated lotion works really well on skin like yours.

Also, slather on a thick, fragrence free hand cream (not lotion), or vaseline and then a pair of white cotton gloves and sleep in them.

Good luck really dry skin sucks
superglue works really well in a bind, or you can try foot/heel cracks remedy available over the counter available at any discount store or pharmacy. I had stuggled with these problems for years and all of a sudden no more problem. the heel ointment is made with wax and honey, has a pleasnt smell and works miracles overnight, although a bit greasy
Try Zinn's Crack Creme. It should be available at most pharmacies, and comes in a spray form and a lotion form. The main ingredient is glycerine, which softens skin and lets it heal. Apply it frequently and your skin will be healthy in a few days!

Getting rid of flyaways and split ends?

my hair is naturally straight, and has a lot of flyaways. it looks fine after i brush it, but 20 minutes later, it gets flyways on the top and the bottom has a lot of split ends. basically, about an hour later, my hair has so many flyaways, it looks like i haven't even brushed my hair! are there any products i could use to flatten these down? my hair now reaches the middle of my back, and i'm planning on cutting it about an inch past my shoulders, but it still has split ends and is just all over the place.Getting rid of flyaways and split ends?
Well I have naturally straight hair as well. I use fekkai's hair lotion and lately Ive been using bed head manipulator.I have exact same problem a little goes a long way and it leaves your hair soft as ever.Getting rid of flyaways and split ends?
    NO
your hair definitely needs a cut. but until then, use an intensive conditioner as often as needed. when hair dries, apply a little smoothing serum or a tiny amount of olive oil to ends to make splitting less apparent.
getting it trimmed every six weeks should keep most of the split ends away. as for me idk rlly understand y everyone freaks out about them-i cant even tell the differenve. as for the flyaways, theres some kind of spray or SOMthing that u can put in hair ur hair to keep them. its like...flyaway free or somthing weird like that....
    cut,cut,cut.
i say do TANAGRA nanokeratin treatment for the split ends %26amp; there i nothing like it really but it will cost u
    just get a trim
First of all, make sure you cut off those split ends. Make sure you keep trimming your hair once a month.

Second, buy a smoothing wax to smooth down flyaways. You can also use leave-in conditioner or serum. Finish with hair spray.

Third, head to your CVS Pharmacy and buy some Garnier Fructis Long %26amp; Strong Anti-Split Ends treatment. Find it in the hair aisle, it's a squirt bottle that is circular. You rub it on the ends of your hair while its damp and it treats them. But only use this while your hair is damp!

    Good luck!
I dont know about flyaways because i use conditioner and coconut oil a lot. But i dont have straight hair. Well for split ends dont touch your hair a lot and when you towel dry try not to rub your hair with the towel. And you should trim your hair if your hair isnt the same length.
what are flyaways and ill tell u.

How do you feel about the next two Harry Potter movies being split in half?Do you like or hate this happening?

    please tell me! thanks!

Also, have u seen the harry potter movie and if you did, what was your favorite part? How do you feel about the next two Harry Potter movies being split in half?Do you like or hate this happening?
i dont mind the next harry potter being split into two as long as its good and so much better than the half blooded price movie that was a disappointment but i would have to say my favorite part would be the parts where lavender is all over ron and herminie is there tooHow do you feel about the next two Harry Potter movies being split in half?Do you like or hate this happening?
Yeah I did see the new one my fave part is when Harry finds out Snap is the half-blood prince! Harry was so BLOWN!

But I think its a good idea to split the next movie in 2 parts so nothing gets left out!
i think its a good idea. people are always complaining that things are being left out so hopefully the next two movies won't leave anything out.

Does a stock split also split the par value of the treasury stock held?

Or does it just split the common stock par value?. Say you are holding 100 TREASURY STOCK shares each with $10 par value, then would a 2-for-1 stock split decrease par value of TREASURY STOCK shares to $5 and number of treasury shares to 200?Does a stock split also split the par value of the treasury stock held?
No..Treasury Stock is recored at ';cost'; and not at par value. Par Value has nothing to do with recording in the journal

Are they really going to split the last Harry Potter book into two separate movies?

    Anybody know?

yeh but it will be better as they cram even the smallest books into a 2 hour film and completely ruin it! so i would be happy to let them split in half
Ya thats what i heard i think it will be better do they can get more in it so they wont be cutting big chunks out of it!
Yep! This way, they'll stay more faithful to the book. I can't wait!
    yes they are.

Will the Sikh religious community split - into progressive and fundamental groups?

And will the progs at last abandon turbans? Will the Sikh religious community split - into progressive and fundamental groups?
It is hard to say. At present many Sikhs do not wear turban. Turban is not associated with Sikhism but hairs are. Turban is to cover hairs. It does not have any shape or color. People who have cut their hairs, most of them comeback when they start reading Gurbani.

Unlike christians, Sikhs if even they split, they will be reading from same Guru Granth and they will be sharing same proud history. Will the Sikh religious community split - into progressive and fundamental groups?
    KHALSA

Was created about 200 years later by the 10th Guru in 1699 to give Sikhs a unique identity and some more wonderful beliefs. The Guru's first 5 Khalsas were called Panj Pyaras. However this wonderful concept of Khalsa has been altered by Khalsas themselves.

Because almost every 'Khalsa' breaks his religious laws. Of the 5 K鈥檚 the Kesh ( hair and beard, eyebrows, body hair ) is shorn by a massive ( maybe 99 %, yes 99 % ) majority of the young 'Khalsa', weather they are in the UK or the fields of Punjab . Even the 'Khalsa's who keep the hair will reject 3 other physical symbols. For convenience sake - without batting an eyelid. Ask a religious 'Khalsa', - if you take so much trouble over maintaining your hair at the right length, do you keep 鈥榯he Kacha鈥?( large undergarment / drawers ) or do you wear a Calvein Klein brand of underwear. Do you keep 鈥榯he Kanga鈥?( comb ) of the right length or only a miniature Kanga 鈥?for convenience sake ? The 鈥楰ara鈥?is convenient so almost everyone ( including I ) wear it.

To answer your question - the Sikh community will not split - a dynamic religion will not lay too much emphasis on rituals - it will change, progress and become stronger with time. That is why Sikhism is a great religion today

Why is there such a split of voters in America?

Despite the fact that Obama won so convincingly in the 08 elections why is there such a split in opinions of him and his political rival McCain? Why is there such a split of voters in America?
It is a war between Liberals and Conservatives. Liberals are now back in power after loosing the power about 20 years ago (The liberals ruled for over 40 years prior to that).

Actually, the majority of people in the country are conservatives, but the media and hollywood are very liberal so the presidential votes are usually about 50/50, or close. The last election was about 53%/47%. Larger spread than normal, but still almost half the voters did not want Obama. Why is there such a split of voters in America?
A lot more people voted in this election, but Obama only received 4 million more votes than Bush received in 2004.

The split is over political beliefs and Obama is a liberal, while many voters are conservative. The problem with McCain..he voted liberal far too often to truly satisfy the conservative voters.
As far as I'm concerned, McCain was Obama lite. He just sucked a little less than Obama. The republicans ran a luke warm pseudo conservative against a white hot liberal and got their a s s handed to them in the process. They were basically the same candidate with the exception of the pro-life, pro-choice thing.
It takes a good anvil and a good hammer to forge a good product.
propaganda (fox news) has been very effective here. will take a while for the afflicted to come around, if they do.

My poor dog has a split toenail. Is there anything that I can do to help it heal faster?

It seems to be split all the way back to her paw. It seems to only be painful occasionally. How can this be prevented from happening again in the future? My dog and I both thank you for any knowledge that you can provide to help us fix this problem. My poor dog has a split toenail. Is there anything that I can do to help it heal faster?
I'd take her to the vet to prevent infection and any other underlying problems.

To prevent it in the future, make sure to keep your dog's tails trimmed. [They shouldn't click on hard surfaces.]My poor dog has a split toenail. Is there anything that I can do to help it heal faster?
TELL YOUR VET THIS COULD BE SERIOS!!!
My dog had a split toenail on her dew paw so I took her to the vet. She clipped it right up to the paw. My dog gave a little yelp but that was all. She put powder on it to stop the bleeding and it gave her no problem. I think you should have a vet look at it if its the regular paw. It might turn into a more serious problem.
My dog has one too. Its cut in half. Its because she is always jumping on me and she runs around in gravil a lot. Maybe she chews on it , that would make it worse.
Theres nothing better than a visit to the Veterinarian. They can provide you medications to solve the problem fast and secure for the dog, don't trust home remedies at all for pet's!!!!!
Take your dog to the vet because this can get to be serious if it's not already.
Have you thought of using finger nail glue to close it up...My mom has done it when i was a kid good luck....
    http://www.thedivadog.com/dog-grooming.a鈥?/a>

has great articles on dog grooming and nail care... Ouch, I'm sorry for that!
You should take her to the vet %26amp; have it cut back as far as possible - it will be painful for a second (like having a splinter removed) but then your dog will be fine. This will prevent an infection from going into her nail bed.

Laws and rights of same sex parents splitting up in england?

If you are ';married'; as in the civil partnership then the statutory provision is set out. If you are not married then there is no common law or statutory provision. Custody of the child is a separate issue. Often confused. the courts aren't interested in the rights of the person. Its the Child's interests that are supposed to be protected. often poorly done but more-so the blame of the parents. its always a sad situation.

xxBLaws and rights of same sex parents splitting up in england?
Personally i think there should not be a thing as same sex partners...nevermind laws about same sex parents splitting upLaws and rights of same sex parents splitting up in england?
One of the couple is the husband and the other the wife. I don't think that a judge will care which is which and will award the child to the one who he/she thinks is most qualified to rear the child. At least I hope so. One of the match may not want the child so it would go to the other one. If the child is not wanted by either parent then the child will be sent to a home for adoption. I pity the poor child. It is the children who always get hurt. The direct reply to your question is that both parties have equal rights whatever they may be in England.
It's analyzed like any other divorce. The law applied is similiar to that of a business partnership dissolution. If there are children, the Court looks at the best interest of the child. Both child support and visitation are permitted. Assets and debts are tried to be divided equally, based upon income.
You can,t have the same sex parents .

And my personal view is that it should not be allowed for gays to bring up children ,for the children grow up thinking that is the norm

What exactly is a training split? How does it work?

For example, if I say ';I work out four days a week with a 3-4 day split';, what exactly does that mean? What exactly is a training split? How does it work?
It's splitting the ammount of days over the course of a week that you will be able to workout during a seven day period.

The three-four split is three days working out and four rest days. Usually done as Mon, Wed and Fri are the training days and Tue, Thur and the weekend ar the rest days.

Is the 5-7-10 split possible to convert with a ball heavier than 12 pounds?

Just wondering if it can or has been done, and if so, how?Is the 5-7-10 split possible to convert with a ball heavier than 12 pounds?
yes I've seen it. a righty clips the left side of the five (the five takes out the ten) and the ball, with spin, takes out the seven. Is the 5-7-10 split possible to convert with a ball heavier than 12 pounds?
its been done :) and it is possible
Yup my dad did it all the time when he was alive
A slow ball with enough spin/deflection can do it, but that's unlikely. Another way is to get some help from the kickbacks or the curtain, similar to many 7-10 split conversions.

Do you think children with split-up parents are screwed up?

As a child of split-up parents I believe I am screwed up. Screwed up as in that you are different (in a bad way) from others with more stable, loving families.

Is it just me or do you feel like you could have been a better person with both influences in your life?Do you think children with split-up parents are screwed up?
I think its different for everybody.

I mean some people are just so destroyed mentally due to it, and some act as though it really doesn't matter, etc.

For me, its kinda like the 2nd thing. I mean its been that way ever since i was really little so for a very long time this is how its been (them being seperated) hasn't really hurt me that badly, a little here and there, but not that much.Do you think children with split-up parents are screwed up?
I am from a split family. I have seen every example of all of the four emotions and every sin. I lived on a very basic farm and the heart of east Chicago. I had step family members that committed murder and did time. Incest in the family. Some were religious fanatics and some were quiet about it. I don't think I would have it any other way if it were to be done over. I didn't have a formal education, bet self educated my self to be a technical person who raised two loving daughters and have a wife of fifty years that has survived cancer and stroke. I have always lived in an upscale neighborhood. It is impossible for me to tell a lie or do anything dishonest, or harm anyone or animal. I was lucky to marry the right wife, She gets some of the credit. No I am not religious, just smart. You cannot blame your parents for your life, Just use this experience to grow strong. I sure know people from ';proper '; families that are screwed, though.
I think it depends on many factors for example the age the children are when the split happens, the relationship between the parents after the split, the bahviour of the parents before and after the split. My parents separated when I was 2 and my husbands separated when he was 3. There was little or no animosity and neither of us can remember our parents together. The only thing that happened is that marriage was not an easy decision for us to make and we went with possibly more caution than we needed. We have also realised that maybe the separations were regretted at least on the part of one parent each, but who are we to judge?

I think I would like my dad in my life more, as would my husband because neither of us ever had a step dad and relied on our grandfathers more than other kids would. I have met people who were screwed up by their parents marriage staying together so like I said, it depends on the circumstances, you can never know what the other scenario would have been so the best thing to do is not dwell on the past and concentrate on the future.
I am not from a split family (I know this is for people for a split families) and I am happily married with 5 (and about to have 7 kids). Having both influences is better I honestly think you should never leave your spouse but sometimes it just doesn't work out that way. In a way the kids suffer. One of my best friends I went to school and I am still good friends with now, her parents divorced. She was 11 with 4 young sisters. It was so terribly hard for her. Her mom would work late and she'd have to babysit and on weekends. She would get pretty emotional about it. Her dad would come over sometimes and her parents would fight. In my opinion its how the kids take it. Every kid is different. They may not take it that well and act up. I went to school with a boy and he really acted up after his parents divorced. It's a sad thing. I also met a girl at camp when I was a kid and she was good for about 2-3 hours and then she got really mean and I found out her parents are divorced. I think she was hurting inside. Also my best friend is from divorced parents and she is such a wonderful girl. She never said one mean word to me and she was nice to everyone. She was 6 and she took it absolutely fine.

You can't blame your characteristics on your parents splitting up. Men and Woman have different influences on their children. It's important to have both in your life. It's not easy being a single parent. I know someone from my church who is single. It's not easy raising children without someone to turn to. It depends on the person. I think I turned out good with both in my life but I know my girlfriends I talked about will too. I say its different for everyone.
    It depends.

If I look at my son, his parents split up some three years ago. He misses me a lot whenever he is with his mother so, yes, I believe there is a danger of him becoming screwed up. I am trying hard to avoid this happening.

On the other hand, I have been watching Barack Obama for the last year or so, trying to figure out if he is screwed up. He grew up without a father (that bastard went back to Kenya and left poor little Barack in the US), but as far as I can see, Barack Obama was able to cope very well.

Not totally sure yet about either the case of my own son or that of Barack Obama.
    That all depends, I'd say.

I know people from parents who stayed together who are mighty screwed up because of that fact. And TONS of people with split up parents, (even quite a few people who never had a father) who turned out wonderful.

I really think the whole thing about divorce/absence of a parent is blown out of proportion. Maybe an excuse for the parents who don't try hard enough or who take out the problems on the child for when that child ends up messed up.
I think you're using that as an excuse for what's wrong with your life. Take responsibilty for yourself - if you think you are screwed up change it. You choose whether or not to be 'screwed up'.

The key word here is 'loving' families - you don't need both parents to be loved.
No, my parents were split up. That doesn't mean I didn't come from a loving home though. I received more love from a split home then some people do with parents that are still together. Both parents had an influence on my life - they didn't need to stay together to raise me.

    I'm sorry you missed out.
I believe that it depends on the situation. I know off a guy with divorced parents and he is very messed up. However if they were still together there's really no way of telling if he would still deviate so intensely from the norm.
My parents split up when I was 6,I dont remember it that well and then

he moved to california when I was 7.I dont belive I was screwed up and I didnt belive that I could've been a better person with him around.
Being screwed up is all a matter of who's judging ya. I grew up with 2 parents and one was a drug addict. Still envious of a 2 parent home?
Well both of my parents are still married, but I can say that both of my parent's personalities have made me who I am today. I think I am pretty alright.
No, I am not screwed up. My parents got along much better after getting divorced.
Well I was raised by a single parent and I think I am doing pretty well. I guess it just depends on the person.
My parent's were split up (for very good reasons), I think I turned out pretty damn good.
    Judging from your answers I would say ';yes';

What exactly are alter egos/split personalities? What is the definition of each? Are they essentially the same?

An alter ego is a secret life someone lives; a double life. A split personality is a person who has psychological problems, resulting in ';two'; people in one body. The brain makes up two different people, essentially. They are a little bit different. An alter ego does not mean you have something wrong psychologically; for example Bruce Wayne has an alter ego - Batman. However, Dr.Jeckyl and Mr.Hyde show a dysfunction in the brain, resulting in ';two'; people. What exactly are alter egos/split personalities? What is the definition of each? Are they essentially the same?
An alter ego is a second self, a second personality or persona within a person. It was coined in the early nineteenth century when schizophrenia was first described by early psychologists. A person with an alter ego is said to lead a double life.

If someone has a split personality, you can usually tell because they often talk to themselves. They ask a question and then answer it themselves.

Split personality is nothing to with schizophrenia. It is a very rare dissociative disorder, in which the sufferer has two or more distinct personalities.

';Dissociative identity disorder is characterized by the presence of two or more distinct or split identities or personality states that continually have power over the person's behavior. With dissociative identity disorder, there's also an inability to recall key personal information that is too far-reaching to be explained as mere forgetfulness. With dissociative identity disorder, there are also highly distinct memory variations, which fluctuate with the person's split personality.

    The ';alters'; or different identities have their own age, sex, or race. Each has his or her own postures, gestures, and distinct way of talking. Sometimes the alters are imaginary people; sometimes they are animals. As each personality reveals itself and control's the individuals' behavior and thoughts, it's called ';switching.'; Switching can take seconds to minutes to days. When under hypnosis, the person's different ';alters'; or identities may be very responsive to the therapist's requests.';

How do i learn the splits in a week?

im 5'8 and i have long legs and im not that flexable

how do i learn how to do my left and right splits in a week?

please explain in detailHow do i learn the splits in a week?
    ok

1.) go into a straddle on the floor

2.)hold yourself up by your arms put your armsbehind you whwn you do it

3.)point and flex your toes while lifting yourself up

trust me it helpsHow do i learn the splits in a week?
You don't learn them in a week. It took me 4 years to be able to do my splits. You need to give your muscles time to develop otherwise you could tear a muscle.
well to do them it takes time at least 6 weeks but you really have to stretch a lot everyday and in at least six weeks you should have them looking pretty and feeling painless
Unless you enjoy tearing your muscles, you don't.
you cant..unless you want to tear a muscle...
I wouldn't advise it. It takes time to do this ,take your time because you risk muscle injury,go to a proper dance teacher who can instruct you correctly.
Sorry to dissapointe u, but the splits are not something u just learn, its moe of practice, practice pracice鈥or months and months and months. You have to stretch every day鈥nd then go down as far as possible into the splits and push urself further鈥 tiny bit each day鈥?u also have to work on ur leg strengh A LOT.

It took me about 2 months to learn the right splits, and well鈥 stopped working at it for about 2 weeks, and it was like starting all over!!!

    Good luck girl
IT TAKES A GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME AND PRACTICE BEFORE YOU ARE READY FOR IT BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO POP YOUR LEG IN ORDER TO DO IT......
that's impossible unless you want to rip a muscle and not be able to do the splits for like 6 months! you'll need to go into a low lunge (right leg bent in front and left behind you) and hold it for atleast 45 secs. make sure you do it on the other side too. then do a plea(plee ayy) and stick one leg out, do this for atleast 30 secs, you know you're not doing it right it you don't feel a burn on your thigh. then do the other side. good luck!

How can i get pain split and thunder punch for dusknoir, pokemon diamond?

help me how i want that moveset for my dusknoir.

and is it possible that the egg turns to a dusknoir not a duskull? How can i get pain split and thunder punch for dusknoir, pokemon diamond?
You get Pain Split By breading Misdreavus.

And you get Thunder Punch By Going to Pastoria City and have a heart scale and you can get thunder Punch

    Hope this helped

MipHow can i get pain split and thunder punch for dusknoir, pokemon diamond?
In order for a dusknoir to learn Pain Split and ThunderPunch you have to follow these directions.

Pain Split: YOu have to get a misdreavus or a mismagius that knows Pain Split and Breed with a Dusknoir (It sucks i know). Get an Egg and it will hatch into a duskull with pain split. THis will only work if your dusknoir is Female and a mismagius is male.

ThunderPunch: YOu have to get a heart Scale (underground, Luvdisc by using a super rod and fish at the entrace of the pokemon league). Once you get a heart Scale go to the Move realerner in pastoria city and talk to the guy in a house nearest to the water. He will teach you thunderpunch.

    Hope This Helps!
you have to keep training till it learns the moves or buy the TM (if you can)

and no the egg will turn into its earliest, female form.
just get the tms you cant buy them so you`ll have to look for them and you cant hatch a duskpnoir from a egg srry
well u could get s misdreavus that knows pain split and breed them....idk about thunder punch though..
    keep the tms

    Judging from your answers I would say ';yes';

    The ';alters'; or different identities have their own age, sex, or race. Each has his or her own postures, gestures, and distinct way of talking. Sometimes the alters are imaginary people; sometimes they are animals. As each personality reveals itself and control's the individuals' behavior and thoughts, it's called ';switching.'; Switching can take seconds to minutes to days. When under hypnosis, the person's different ';alters'; or identities may be very responsive to the therapist's requests.';
