Is there a port to split internet from modem to 2 computers?

Something like a spillter or a port, I am not talking about Router. THANKSIs there a port to split internet from modem to 2 computers?
Yes you are. A router is what you need. Or depending on the use, a switch might also work.

Good LuckIs there a port to split internet from modem to 2 computers?
I run two computers using ethernet one is situated 100 metres away from the other using a cable which we have placed underground. I installed a Netcomm/Ethernet/USB ADSL Modem Router Plus 4 it will run 4 computers if you so desire. The item is not expensive and easy to install. It is the only method I know to do what you want to get full use of internet with no delay. There are probably other kinds available but I have found this one relatively problem free. This is an external unit so no fiddling with the internal computer required. This replaces your standard external Modem. Good Luck
no even if they do exist it won't work Modem is designed to give you just one ip. Where the router would distribute ip for each computer. So you already answer your question get a router.
A router is the only way to do it.
