Do hair with split ends continue to grow?

i have split ends, and i usually just pull them out,

what happens to the hair development if the hair is split?Do hair with split ends continue to grow?
Hair grows from under the scalp. Split ends do not prevent your hair from growing. On average about 100 hairs fall out a day and hair grows about 1/2 an inch to 1 inch a month. 6 to 12 inches a year, although some peoples hair may only grow 1/4 an inch a month, about 4 inches a year. But either way split ends don't effect the overall hair growth.Do hair with split ends continue to grow?
yeah i think it does

i've hears that evian water seals split ends - it could just be a myth

but it seems to me like its worth a try

with time the split ends get bigger

everyone has a different theory

some say you should split it up the shaft

some say you should cut if off with nail clippers

and yet others say to trim them with styling scissors

(available at beauty supply stores or drug stores)

good luck(:
Yes it will continue to grow. But the hair will just keep splitting and eventually fall out. You should get a trim every few weeks to keep from having split ends. Pulling it out wont do anything to your hair growth.
Hair grows from the scalp. Split ends are just hair that has been physically damaged. Because the hair does not grow from that end, split ends don't affect growth. However they will continue to be present unless you get it trimmed.
yeah it will still grow think about it where does your hair grow from the ends of your hair or from the scalp??? hmm its not that hard lol.. but your hair would look healthier if you trimmed the split ends!
if u don't cut the split ends they begin to grow into the legth of ur hair so its better to go to a hair salon and cut them before they get worst
