How do I split a screen in Firefox so I can see information in one tab and enter information in another? TIA?

I use Google spreadsheet and enter information to it from another website. Life would be so much easier if I could split the Firefox screen. I have Firefox 1.5+ and Splitscreen 1.0 will not work with it.How do I split a screen in Firefox so I can see information in one tab and enter information in another? TIA?
You can still open them in different wondows and split them that way. You don't HAVE to use tabs.How do I split a screen in Firefox so I can see information in one tab and enter information in another? TIA?
You would have to contact the Mozilla Project team about that, maybe they can include it in their list of things to do :)

Firefox 1.5 does not suport this at pressent. However the best way around it is to have two firefox windows open, then simpley right click on the task bar (an empity area) and click on the tile option that you want.





This also means the Splitscreen can be uninstalled as you can do this within windows without the need for this software freeing up some memory and disk space.
have u tried just opening a new tab from the file menu?
You can't with the tab feature. Best is to just open in a second browser window and then use the split screen.
