How can I split a movie that is 3 hrs long in my pc?

Hi, I have this movie that I want to burn but it tells me that it is too long how can I split the movie in half for burning. what kind of software do I needHow can I split a movie that is 3 hrs long in my pc?
I use TMPGEnc Express 4.0 :

If you're using a pc, use windows movie maker (you should already have it, otherwise you can download it for free), and if you're using a mac, use imovie (usually comes with your mac as part of the ilife suite). both softwares have a split option, so you would simply import your full clip, delete the last half and burn, and then do the same for the first half.
