I've been told that having split ends makes your hair grow not as fast as if there were not split ends, is this true? What do you think?
I know they look bad, they're unhealthy for your hair, and just not fun. Oh! And what do you do to help grow out your hair?So do split end make your hair grow not as quick?
your hair grows but the spit ends kill the hair and break it off at the end. It looks like its not growing but if you keep your ends clipped you will notice the differenceSo do split end make your hair grow not as quick?
This is not true, it's just a myth. How can a split end at the end of a dead piece of hair effect the roots at the top? Although the split ends do grow higher up the hair and end up damaging more of it than you would want. So it's in your best interest to cut the split end out and save as much healthy hair as you can. I'm not sure how old you are, but I take prenatal vitamins (pills to take before and during pregnancy) even though I'm not pregnant and don't plan on it, they still help my hair and nails grow stronger. They have no negative effects on you, but I was just wondering how old you are cause it would be kinda wierd if you were younger and your parents saw you taking those vitamins.
i dont think that they directly affect the growth of you hair, its more like if you have split ends over time they'll split upward and ruin your hair ends, making you have to cut your hair shorter when you finally get it cut. i havent tried anything to help grow it out but theres that herbal essence ';long term relationship'; shampoo and conditioner, as well as natural herbal tea formulas to help with hair growth.
YES!!! im a fan of long hair and if i go 2 the salon they always cut it way 2 shorter than i wanted it so like every 3-5 months i cut my own dead ends (no i never messed up) and my hair grows faster and and i always have curls @ the end of my hair!!!
Yes you have to trim it or use flat beer to help prevent spit ends do it once or 2 times a month put it straight on your hair, wrap it in a towel for 1 to 2 hours and rinse out. Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c鈥?/a> for more remedies and details.
