How do you stop split ends?

Is there a certain type of shampoo, or how often I should get my hair cut?How do you stop split ends?
of course anything with heat increases split ends and increases damage. split end shampoo just covers it and then after a while it goes back to normal. you should def. trim ur hair every three months about one to two inches. also when you brush ur hair when it's wet use a comb not a brush . hopefully after a couple months ur hair will look healthier and better. also slow down on the straighter, try the beachy waves look ;).How do you stop split ends?
You should get your hair cut every 6 weeks or so to get rid of spilt ends.

You should condition your hair at least once every 2 days to improve its health and strength.

Yeah - a straightener does increase the amount of spilt ends you have because the heat damages it. Use a heat protection spray before you straighten your hair.
yeah

get your hair cut every two months or so

try to use nothiing with silicone or ingredients that end with CONE

in them

it makes your hair dyer, and dryer hair gets split ends

use a protecting spray before you straighten, and use low heats.

and towel dry your hair instead of blow drying it.
use a good salon quality shampoo and conditioner, a deep conditioning treatment once or twice a week and get your ends trimmed every 6-8 weeks.

yes, straightening is bad for your hair and will increase split ends. use a heat protection spray before straightening
ok mostly when you have split ends it means that your not that healthy? but then while when you HAVE split ends you gut it off if you don't cut it the split ends will split your hair more longer
You don't. Split ends are natural. They happen by everything. and yes, Straightening is the BIGGEST cause of split ends. A trim will only get rid of them and prevent them.
only straighten your hair about twice a week because that will cause damage, but getting your hair trimmed will get rid of the split ends

yes try not to dry your hair or straighten it. if you do straighten it apply a heat protector before you do so. as far as shampoo goes, try a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner
you should probably get your hair cut more often and use salon quality hair products
Use a deep conditioner
Definatly don't let them use the razor anymore, and try a good split end conditioner aswell as make sure you get your haircut ever 6-8weeks
